Patterns

I also did a sketch in V&A cafe. I was fascinated by the patterns on the walls. The side room where I was sitting was very dark so I didn't really see the colors I used, but they turned out very vibrant (but not exactly life like).

Which reminds me of this colorful letter that arrived this week. I was lucky enough to win Sybille's amazing New Year's card. I don't think I will send it to anyone, it is too pretty...

  1. Hey Sasa, you're changing something your expressive way. I like it a lot.
Guess what? if this illustration was a canvas painted with oil or acrylic with dimensions, say ... 1 mt.x70 cent. I would buy it, really,
why you do not paint pictures like this, in a big size Sasa????, is an excellent painting.
good week for you! ♥ :)

  3. The colors are vibrant indeed! Very beautiful Persian atmosphere. Can also be used as design for a Persian carpet. It's alomost abstract. The blue green at the top is the best. A big fat smudgy stripe of deep dark glowing color. Yummie!
