Glasses

Friday was Red Nose Day, a UK-wide charity fundraising event. One the 'red noses' was T-Specs (above) though my favorite was Dinomate (below).

    Ha, Sasa! What a funny post! I love both noses. T is so serious, that's cute. Dino looks very fierce, but your peaceful eyes say he's oke.

      My eyes behind my minus 8 glasses. I never wear them in public so this is a historic photo.

Flowers gone wild... I was testing how watercolor paper would work with my ink painting. Unfortunately ink always looks quite dull on it when compared to 'rice paper', which shows magnificent shades and nuances. But the problem with rice paper is that painting gets crinkled and needs to be mounted on a stiffer backing paper, which is a very difficult process. Currently I am sending my work to China to be mounted but that is time consuming. There must be soneone in London who has mastered the traditional Asian wet mounting technique?

Backgrounds

Nunu the cat stepped on a plate of ink and then walked over some work of mine leaving cute paw marks... Unfortunately the end result was quite messy so I was experimenting with backgrounds today.     (This is not the first time Nunu participated in art creation. I have an earlier work where paw marks are clear and well-positioned and only improve the work... If I find it, I'll post it here later.)
