Passion


Another painting from the same kiss series, a bit more passionate maybe? 

These are drafts for a set of larger paintings. It is useful to make these small (A4) ones but I find that the bigger paintings end up looking completely different. Paper size makes a huge difference.

    Both paintings are passionate. But I find them dramatic, too, especially the first one. As if this kiss is the only one, first and last at the same time. No hope, no future...
    It will be interesting to see how the idea will develop on a bigger paper.

    Dramatic, yes. Perhaps passion has a dark side. The kiss is sort of ominous. This one is more festive. It's a great project!
