    1. Haha, you spotted my weak point... I don't like people or cars :-P Actually a big Tesco truck parked right in front of those shops when I was drawing them, had to wait a long time for it to leave...

  2. Hej!
I am totally loving your recent observational things, both outdoorsy and indoorsy (alhtough ther was only oneof the latter?)

I think it's interesting how what you are posting here is changed so much when you changed your whereabouts! :)

    1. True, there is a change. Now I wish I had done more 'observational stuff' in Beijing too, but there it always felt a bit out of place. Especially drawing outdoors wasn't inviting because of the pollution.

  3. You are a fantastic streetscaper! It looks all so pittoresk.

    2. Boludo! I did visit Sasa's blog when she was living in Beijing. I loved her then, I love her now.
But... I'll do as you say. So I dived into her blogging life, starting 2008.
Hi Sasa, it's so great to follow your life in retroperspective. I like it that you drew your daily life things, like the humidifier, plastic bottles ( I liked that one!) make-up, couch and pregnancy test!
So Roberto, che boludo!, I report to you when I finish sketchbook 1,2,3, but I allready know I find her a fantastic artist. Allroundscaper, but most of all I love the flowers. I saw one, it's called 'farewell'... simply gorgeous. Bye!

    3. Oh no, you remember all the old stuff... This makes me feel shame, not sketching in public...

    4. I didn''t remember, I was going through your old blog (on instigation of R) and Sasa, don't be embarrassed! You did great. I didn't plan to do it, but I couldn't stop looking at the old posts. I will certainly go on with it, because now I know you (a littel bit) and that makes it so interesting. Like filling in blank pages. BTW I do the same with Roberto's blog, and that's very interesting too. You learn background things about someone and see the development of style. Bye!

    5. Old work does make me embarrassed, cant help it :-) Anyway, should either add the missing images to that blog or archive it. Haven't decided which one to do yet.

    1. I try to be discreet. And I did feel embarrassed in the beginning but I am starting to get used to it.
