This is for Illustration Friday theme Childhood. I wanted to try something different. I didn't do any planning, just started drawing, and now I have loads of ideas of how I should have done this differently. Well, next time...
I think you did it very well Sasa, these four illustrations could be representative of my childhood. (If we change the girl for a boy.) and the black cloud... Yes yes, perhaps means the the future. but also the fears, I remember my childhood, full of fears. Good week for you Sasa! :)
I think this is a nontrivial approach to the theme and I like it. Maybe these are your personal perceptions of childhood, they don't resemble mine with the exception of drawing №2), but actually they provoked my own memories and this is great!:)
I like this cartoon model of showing a little piece of your childhood. Specially because you start with finnish Donald Duck. Like R & R I recognise my own childhood (drawing a crown imagining being a prinses and the Lego building blocks)except for that big black cloud. I am sorry it is floating so prominent in short history of your youth. I love what you did. It is very strong and childhoodish! Bye, Hedwig
Bonjour Sas, j'espère que tu vas bien en ce bel été. Bien qu'arrêté pour plusieurs mois dans ma pratique du land art, pour raison médicale, je continue à animer page GOOGLE+ ROGER DAUTAIS je viens d'y poster ce matin, une dédicace pour toi en toute amitié. Roger;

Nunu the cat stepped on a plate of ink and then walked over some work of mine leaving cute paw marks... Unfortunately the end result was quite messy so I was experimenting with backgrounds today. (This is not the first time Nunu participated in art creation. I have an earlier work where paw marks are clear and well-positioned and only improve the work... If I find it, I'll post it here later.)
Went to Camden Beach yesterday with a bunch of artist friends. It is a rooftop with fine sand, deckchairs, beach huts and expensive drinks. It was a cold and windy day but at least it didn't start raining.
When I was at school we were discussing what human evolution might mean. Maybe we would have larger heads to house enormous brain, huge lungs to cope with pollution, big nose with plenty of nose hair to filter that horrible air, and tiny thin legs that come with the sedentary lifestyle... And maybe we will be bright orange thanks to thinning ozone layer and increased UV radiation (or maybe it is just fake tan). Spring Look 3013
