Found a bunch of pens and grey markers (in different shades) I had brought from China but had forgotten and never really used. So had to test them and drew another corner of our kitchen. (Markers are really difficult to use.)
Sasa Sorry, but I see you've had difficulty, this is fine. Right. excellent! Then I'll tell you about Japanese designs. good week for you! I love the drawings in which you show the things of every day. you're an excellent graphic witness of daily life :)
Oh Roberto, the fastest of the fast :-) Thank you. I would like to get another kind of effect but this is what I got... (BTW, thank you for the jungle music, I forgot to mention, made me happy)
Such a cosy kitchen! Me too, I like to peek in your house. I imagine you cooking there, eat your vitamine veggie's :)) I wonder if you prefer Finnish, Chinese or English food. And what is 'farmdrop'? Bye!
Roger
Thanks Roger! You inspire me to work harder. And thank you again for that amazing pond installation. For others, if you want to see, go to: http://rogerdautais.blogspot.co.uk/
I like you style of sketching everyday life so much! (I even feel a desire to try it myself!:D) Those shadows make me think whether you were drawing at sunset time?
Your cosy, little kitchen makes a perfect illustration for a children's book or a basic cookbook, and it reminds me of the kitchen of Julie of the movie Julie and Julia (2009).
I do not know anything about drawing but I can tell you I like it a lot! When I try to draw my kitchen it looks like a camp somewhere in the cave ;( Maybe more people would like to join and be willing to draw and publish something from their houses !
Went to Camden Beach yesterday with a bunch of artist friends. It is a rooftop with fine sand, deckchairs, beach huts and expensive drinks. It was a cold and windy day but at least it didn't start raining.

ReplyDeleteDefinitely Chinese :-) Farm Drop is an online shop where you can buy food directly from local producers. I haven't tried it yet but plan to.
